Met up last Friday with girlfriends, Sophie and Phoebe, for an event we’re hoping to put together. I’m pretty excited about it since it’ll be something all you fashionistas will enjoy. Can’t say much right now but I’ll definitely keep you guys in the loop. Coffee, a bit of shopping and time spent rich in conversation. And, oh, we actually went to the salon together, hence, my new haircut. I always have fun when I go out with these girls.
I bought the Topshop skirt on sale; twas only Php 545.00! …

Sometimes, it’s not the dress, top or shoes you’re wearing that will make your look stand out. Sometimes, it’s your headgear or even your makeup that will get people to notice you.
To Phoebe’s utter dismay, there were a number of other women sporting the bandanna the night we partied with Steve Aoki. Twasn’t like throngs of people were wearing them, twas just that since it’s uncommon to see that much people don the look at the same time. Nevertheless, Phoebe still pulled it off fabulously and did not end up …

What I love about clubbing is getting the opportunity to dress up — funky or what not. It squeezes out your creative juices, hopefully, the outcome satisfies your inner stylist. Partying with Steve Aoki has been known to have that Japanese flavour in styling mixed into it. So, what you’ll notice in the mob that may be queuing up, even when the club’s still relatively empty that night or ones who go through the VIP ropes effortlessly are fashions inspired by such. That’s why I opted to add a bit …

With my frustration in finding the perfect tall, flat boot, my attention is now diverted to a pair of oxford shoes. Believe me, I’ve been searching for weeks and weeks for the boot but I still haven’t found the right one. You can ask teh boyfriend. I’ve hauled his arse from one shoe store to another but it still remains elusive. Sigh.
Along the way, I’ve found myself considering a different kind of shoe. Oxford shoes or something like it. I reckon it’s all due to my new found relationship with …

If there’s one thing you can expect over next few months is the entry of all things in big blocks or panels of colour in clothes. During the Blogger Mixer, the guest of honour, Shai Coggins, came showcasing such style. Her dress is mostly in the purple hue, still quite evident are the horizontal panels in different colours — purple, lavander and brown. It’s a perfect example of what I’m trying to tell you, my dear fashionistas.
But to further illustrate my point, some fashion designers have showcased in their …

Here are a few more style sightings during the Blogger Mixer. I know I’ve been slacking off and there’s been a huge delay in the feature but, hey, this gave me more time to fully comprehend what went on that night since I was sick and really tired.
Anyway.
I found out that these ladies agreed on wearing black that night and here’s a look on how each expressed their own personal styles.
Phoebe Ramos of Swipe Some Gloss had the Mod look going. I love how her outfit look both athletic and …

I didn’t mean to keep you guys in suspense. I was just too darn busy the past few weeks that even uploading photos has been a chore. Been sick, too. Sigh. But I’m starting to feel better the past couple of days esp with the boxer eye wearing off (egad), just a bit more rest is needed to lessen the tiredness, I reckon will do me good.
To start off the style sighting series for the Blogger Mixer held last 30 November at Kape Isla in Serendra, I’m featuring the outfit …
Manila Street Fashion, Shopping »
Just spent last Sunday afternoon with teh boyfriend’s family in celebration of multiple birthdays in the family. We soon hit ATC in the early evening on a quest for that elusive flat, tall boot. But was grossly compensated with a bit of Mango shopping as a gift. Bought a pair of thigh-high socks, Gela leggings and a long sleeved shirt. I’ll probably show you guys that Mango loot sometime soon. We ended the day with some Zucca and Panini at CIBO. Obviously. LOL.

I was on my way back to the car with teh boyfriend when we bumped into a couple of his friends outside the Nokia Red & Black Party and one of them was Anna Carlos of OGILVY. I first met Anna one night over at Bonifacio High Street and twas fantastic to see her again cuz this time we were able to chat a bit about fashion and the ever popular tiangge (flea market) shopping. LOL.
Thin belts are quite hot right now and there’s only a handful that I’ve seen …

Getting it out of the way, I thought I’d feature the outfit I wore to the Nokia Red & Black Party (see me showing off my event band, lol) first. That way, I can focus on the style sightings on succeeding posts. Oh, I’m building up a bit of suspense. Humour me. Heh.
Aired out a new dress. I was particularly drawn to the vertical black and grey panels and the twine braid strap. It’s another “nipple tape” dress, which I coincidentally bought at Chick Flick (fast becoming a favourite of …
