At Rockwell, Tina

Hanging out with friends at a cafe will require comfort but it doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice style. Wearing a dress with flipflops is one great outfit option for such occasions.
I love how she opted for earthy prints on a white canvass. Looks subdued yet fresh. A combination of pieces that doesn’t look too calculated gets a thumbs up on my book.
Tina is in Corporate Banking with BPI.

It can be a little cliche-ish but what the heck, eh? Plaids are one of the trends that’s making a comeback (at least for the Western Fall season). It’s a bit preppy but it’s pretty nonetheless.
I’ve never bought an item from Maldita, though, I do find their selection sleek and, sometimes, bordering on the cosmopolitan work wear sort but there are notable items that’s easy to style into a more casual urban outfit. For the relatively younger fashionistas (note: ones still in school!), if minis are acceptable then by all …

When Aileen asked me a styling question via Plurk a while back, it had lingered till I can’t stand it anymore that I knew I had to write this post. She had asked for styling tips for teachers.
We all may remember our teachers for their wit and charm but never by their fashion sense unless it was totally off. For ones that fail to stick, well, it goes to show just how much effect they had. But, hey, I’d like to remember my profs fondly (ones that I do remember, …

Do you remember puberty? That awkward stage of deciding to leave behind childish inclinations and embrace womanhood at its early phase? Well, during my trip to Palawan last weekend, I had the chance to get a glimpse of this 11-year old girl’s initial steps into the kikay world of teenage girls.
Sylvie was much too shy but has this smile that you will only see on a young girl. I knew she wanted to learn how to fix herself up esp since she was so fascinated with “grown …

There are people who find comfort in keeping a room untidy than keeping things in order. Claims that it’s easy to find things underneath all the paper piles and knick-knacks. I’d know. I used to be like that 8 or so years ago. Then I found joy in keeping things in their rightful place. Actually, whenever I need to think, I head on over to my wardrobe and organise my clothes. Weird, yea? LOL.
Sometimes, even when you want to start tidying things up, you lack space. You need a …

When I mentioned, “what I didn’t really like is that the shape of the flip-flops isn’t friendly for them who have wide feet”, on my last post, I wasn’t aware of the Havaianas WAVE line. These babies are meant for them guys with wide feet. Definitely.
I like how these flip-flops (but they look more like rubber sandals now) look. They’re very casual and look very sturdy. I like the light grey and navy blue colour combination. Makes it look clean and beach-ready. I love the straps.

You may be wondering why …

Late posting but I reckon it’s best if you guys get a glimpse of how I — as a “photographer” — looked like. Heehee. I was at the Bayon Temple in the Angkor Region in Siem Reap, Cambodia, photo taken 29 February 2008.
I expected that I’d be under the sun for long periods of time so I armed myself with a hat and a scarf. Yea, I used the scarf to shield off the sun. It did help, I tell ‘ya! And if you plan to …
