Yes, howdy folks! LOL.
One of the things I remember about my visits to Baguio when I was little was going horseback riding in Wright Park so can you guess what this particular tourist did? Er, duh. I went horseback riding!
Growing up, I’ve had this fascination with horses and had dreams of owning one (out of my budget, of course). And the last time I was on a horse, I reckon I was around 8 years old. So when I found myself in Wright Park, I just couldn’t let the …

Ever heard of the saying, “Always the bridesmaid, never the bride” before? Well, that’s me. Not that I’m complaining. LOL. But yea, I played bridesmaid over the weekend to my dear, dear friend’s wedding. A very special and poignant ceremony held somewhere in the metro.
In the bridesmaid roster, I was joined by my other close friends.

I don’t know about you folks but I certainly found the fact that I know how to do makeup on occasions such as this one, very, very useful. …

Today’s a sick day but I’m well enough to spend some time updating Style Manila. However, before I go on with the more serious fashion-slash-beauty posts, I thought it’d be cool to share another weekend (one before last) that I had with friends and family.
It started out with a Hens Party held at Manila Peninsula, Makati City that I organised for a friend who’s scheduled to tie the knot a week and some days from today. Still can’t believe that she’s saying goodbye to the single life but, hey, I’m …

Me in a mall, Power Plant Mall at that, is a bad idea. But when my friends had suggested that we get together last Saturday, where else is best for us to meet up again but the place where we used to hang out at a lot — Rockwell! I knew that the girls were with someone known to always be notoriously late so I opted to walk around the mall a bit. My feet took me to the very reason why I should visit this mall less — Shu …

It’s funny how I ended up posting my review on the Neutrogena liquid foundation first before this blush which I’ve been using relatively far longer. Heh. But I’m glad that I’ve finally managed to sit down and get my thoughts down on this makeup. Note that the following statements will be coming from a very satisfied customer. I’m actually loving this blush, the Neutrogena Soft Color Blush in Divine Wine (90).
After my passionate love affair with the NARS Blush in Super Orgasm, I thought I’d find it difficult to find …

Why is it that women have this fascination when it comes to lash length? I’m trying not to generalise it but since I, personally, am fascinated and I’ve met quite a number whom have voiced out their longing, I can’t help but deduce that it is shared by most if not all. Personally, longer lashes means prettier eyes. Why do you think they’re marketing mascaras as lash extending and such? It has become a known fact.
And since we weren’t born with it, we turn to certain beauty tools that …

Timing couldn’t be more perfect when I brought home this fabulous pantsuit by Lucca courtesy of The Ramp Crossings. It was the very thing I wore to the 6009 House Party Celebrating Originality hosted by Adidas at Embassy Fly last night. One of my targets this year was to buy a pantsuit and here it is. Best bit was I got it for free.
I adore strapless clothes. I know I’m rather thin and stick-ly to be wearing such things (esp since the lack of, ahem, goods) but I simply love …

It takes practice. At least, that’s how it was for me when it came to learning how to apply eye makeup. If you know the fundamentals of creative art — i.e. colour charts, lights and shadows — a large dose of imagination (cuz it helps a lot if you can picture the “eye makeup” in your head) plus, like I said, practice, you can successfully put on decent eye makeup. You know your face best, anyway.
And now that I do know how to do it, I’m now obsessed. Constantly trying …

I went up North last night. All the way to Eastwood Citywalk to meet up with Lauren of Ukay Manila. Helga of Manila Barbie and Luis of Gutter Vomit (who was armed with a brand new Canon 50D + a gazillion of lenses and speedlite no less) joined us later on. Peter arrived when we moved from Coffee Bean to Cafe A.. (I’ve forgotten. EGAD.) Update: AGAVE!!! (Thanks Lauren and Helga!)
What I thought was a simple and small coffee date with Lauren, turned into a real fun night of stories …

Sadly, having been too consumed with shopping for clothes and shoes, my desire to go beauty shopping waned. Sure, I did find myself going in and out of numerous beauty stores and counters but I’d often walk away with empty hands.
One of the reasons is that I’ve been bombarded with Skincare stuff that my taste palette had gone dull and immune to the allure of anything beauty. I have to admit I was more interested in hair products, lotions, and other beauty tools. Most of them I haven’t seen in …
