It can be a little cliche-ish but what the heck, eh? Plaids are one of the trends that’s making a comeback (at least for the Western Fall season). It’s a bit preppy but it’s pretty nonetheless.
I’ve never bought an item from Maldita, though, I do find their selection sleek and, sometimes, bordering on the cosmopolitan work wear sort but there are notable items that’s easy to style into a more casual urban outfit. For the relatively younger fashionistas (note: ones still in school!), if minis are acceptable then by all …

Just to prove that I’m in a t shirt shopping frenzy, I’d like to let you guys in on my favourite expression of late — “Baby I Like That”. LOL. I seem to be uttering these words left and right, with every instance that my eyes would rest on a shirt. If this is some sort of flu, then it must be some money-draining-but-oh-so-stylish flu. Heh.
Teh boyfriend and I went to MOA last Sunday to watch U23D on IMAX. Awesome experience, I tell ‘ya. But before that, I dragged him …

One of the things I’m thankful for is having a sister who also has an eye for fashion, intentionally or not. Also, that she knows what sort of gift to give me. Hehe. On her recent visit to Manila, I got an early Christmas prezzy — a three-way purse that traveled all the way from Australia.
Let me explain why I called it that way. It’s because it can be used as a handbag, a shoulder bag or a purse or clutch (just take off the strap). I wish I can …

With my frustration in finding the perfect tall, flat boot, my attention is now diverted to a pair of oxford shoes. Believe me, I’ve been searching for weeks and weeks for the boot but I still haven’t found the right one. You can ask teh boyfriend. I’ve hauled his arse from one shoe store to another but it still remains elusive. Sigh.
Along the way, I’ve found myself considering a different kind of shoe. Oxford shoes or something like it. I reckon it’s all due to my new found relationship with …

If there’s one thing you can expect over next few months is the entry of all things in big blocks or panels of colour in clothes. During the Blogger Mixer, the guest of honour, Shai Coggins, came showcasing such style. Her dress is mostly in the purple hue, still quite evident are the horizontal panels in different colours — purple, lavander and brown. It’s a perfect example of what I’m trying to tell you, my dear fashionistas.
But to further illustrate my point, some fashion designers have showcased in their …

I was on my way back to the car with teh boyfriend when we bumped into a couple of his friends outside the Nokia Red & Black Party and one of them was Anna Carlos of OGILVY. I first met Anna one night over at Bonifacio High Street and twas fantastic to see her again cuz this time we were able to chat a bit about fashion and the ever popular tiangge (flea market) shopping. LOL.
Thin belts are quite hot right now and there’s only a handful that I’ve seen …

This is not news for most since it’s been brewing for quite sometime now. I reckon the onset of the craze can be traced back to a couple of months ago, with the fruit and owl pendants made popular by Hollywood celebrities. However, I’m appreciating the fact that pendants are now fast becoming more intricate in detail. Tassles, stones, crystals and assorted trinkets adorn 17″ to 40″ chains. These options make it more flexible in terms of incorporating it into an outfit. Some …

A few weeks ago, I bought this adorable eyelet tunic from this quaint shop, which I spotted in BF Homes.
I’ve always wanted to add something in ‘eyelet’ in my wardrobe and I found the yellow colour so adorable and bright. Yes. I want to brighten up the colours of my collection of clothes. About time, I should say. I reckon everyone should step out of their comfort zones and venture into colourful outfits at some point. Enough of the safecolours and fabrics. Don’t you agree?
Anyway, I’ve already featured an outfit …

I’ve never been to Bangkok to do some of that infamous shopping sprees, so, here’s what I do to deal — let the clothes come to me. Heh. One of my online contacts recently came back from a trip there and with truckload of fashion goodies that she’s more than willing to unload, no less. I jumped at the chance to browse through the options and settled on a couple but I have a personal favourite, it’s the Gray Tunic.
Tunics are quite hot nowadays and I can take a guess …

Cold and wet weather has its good points and bad points. Esp the wet part. I’m one of those people who don’t like getting their feet wet. Fashion-wise, this kind of weather allows a different sort of style to emerge. Simply because there are certain fashion pieces, both apparel and accessory, that aren’t suitable to our normal warm and humid weather.
If you’ve been around long enough, you’d know how much of a shoe person I really am. Naturally, I put weight on the shoe department in addressing situations like rainy …
