The ESPRIT Canvas Tote and it’s in Pink!

For all you folks who know me, I’m not all too big on Pink but look what I just bought from Esprit?
It’s a Canvas Tote in Pink! LOL.
Don’t get me wrong. Pink on its own is a bright and happy colour. It’s just the idea of combining it with my personality doesn’t really sit well with me. I guess I’m not your average Pink person. I like it well enough to own a few items but never everything. Call me boring. Heh.

9 for 2009: Fashion Forecast for Manila

As the year 2008 draws to a close, I reckoned that instead of doing a trend round up, I’d rather highlight the ones we can keep an eye on come 2009. This year has been a whirlwind of trend after trend and I’ve noticed that most of the fashionistas were well aware and in tuned with them all. it has been a fun year in fashion, wouldn’t you agree?
Though some may have grown tired of keeping up with them trends, we just can’t help learning of new ones and …

Accessorize it!

One of my fabulous finds at the recently concluded Hat Momma and Friends Christmas Bazaar are these locally made fashion accessories that’s reminiscent of the popular 60’s smart accessory. I’m not talking about technology but the function it offers which champions over any normal necklace or any neck accessory.
These are from Accessorize it!, owned by Lourdes Ragas. I actually bombarded the sales personnel with questions like where they’re made, where we can buy them outside the bazaar, and I also gushed and absolutely appreciated our own. YES! They’re all Philippine …

Another new bag successfully shopped. I got it at CELIO same day teh boyfriend bought his shirt. I did mention I was looking for an overnight bag, right. I needed something that can house a few sets of clothes plus toiletries. GAWD. Packing them toiletries alone can be a huge headache.
I was planning to buy a different bag that day but realised it was too small for my needs so when I saw this one, even when it was double the price, I decided it was the right one. I …

There are people who find comfort in keeping a room untidy than keeping things in order. Claims that it’s easy to find things underneath all the paper piles and knick-knacks. I’d know. I used to be like that 8 or so years ago. Then I found joy in keeping things in their rightful place. Actually, whenever I need to think, I head on over to my wardrobe and organise my clothes. Weird, yea? LOL.
Sometimes, even when you want to start tidying things up, you lack space. You need a …

Canvas Shoulder Bag, Benetton
After an event in Makati last Friday, I found myself loitering the halls of Megamall in Ortigas Center. I had to drop off Ice Hockey princess Sharm at the rink. I decided to go shopping. I chanced upon a sale over at U2, offering 50% off on selected items (will tell you more about that in a later post). Then checked out Mango but I had been hoping to buy an urban bag (like I haven’t shopped more than enough bags, eh?). This brings me to my …

You didn’t really think that I only bought scarves during my trip to Vietnam and Cambodia now, did you? Of course, not. I hoarded bought these two adorable bags-slash-clutches. Aren’t they perfect as evening bags? I just couldn’t let them go esp when I found out that the small-sized black one is only $4 and the medium-sized grey one, $9. Oh, yes. I haggled. Hehe.

I bought them at Hasu Shop, Nguyen Hue Street, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
AND the whole bag shopping thingie didn’t end there. Last night, I …

Who ever said that Valentine’s Day is just for romance and not fashion? I reckon Tiramisu & Co. can persuade you to think otherwise. You can look out for their very own Heart Tote, which can very well celebrate the day of hearts in fashion.
Inspired by Erin Fetherston’s Heart-shaped Tote, the Tiramisu Heart Tote is slightly smaller in dimension. The change doesn’t take away the fact that it’s still adorable.
I’m not suggesting that you bring it on the day itself, if you find it too cheesy but I do find …
