Here’s one more soul-filled personal style successfully spotted and photographed during the NOKIA Soul of the Night Event. You guys should recognise this beauty. I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to photo document and feature Karylle and her gorgeous body art.
You can check out the body art up close after the fold.

Let’s just say he’s a bit shy but, everyone, his name’s Jayvee Fernandez and he’s one of the Nokia Ambassadors introduced during the NOKIA Soul of the Night event last Tuesday. On the sly, I took a photo of the backside of his jacket since the detail is mainly what makes this piece unique. Phoebe mentioned that he got it from [insert name of shop here] (sorry, I forget!) in Trinoma and costs around Php 2,500.00. The shop sells one piece per design which is great cuz isn’t that what …

Told you I’m going to show you what was inside the bag. It’s a Daniella De Corsie dress. Yes, she’s one of the local designers whose works are available at F*ART. I wore it to last night’s NOKIA Soul of the Night Event at the Embassy Superclub. I’ll tell you guys more about it on a later post. I’m still compiling photos. Wouldn’t it be better if things were visual? Anyway, I reckon I drank too much champagne and halfway through a 160-peso dry martini before I called it a …

Last Saturday, I decided to check out the Fashionesque Event at F*ART. Twas a fashion exhibit — Happy Andrada creations — and lomography exhibit. Teh boyfriend and I plus a friend trekked (yes, trekked cuz we’re a bunch of southerners!) up north to the shop located in Kamuning, Quezon City. We got a bit lost but I blame the weird street signs. Gah.
Oh, yes. As you can see, I did a bit of shopping whilst there (you’ll soon find out what’s in the bag, hehe). And I decided to air …

When I mentioned, “what I didn’t really like is that the shape of the flip-flops isn’t friendly for them who have wide feet”, on my last post, I wasn’t aware of the Havaianas WAVE line. These babies are meant for them guys with wide feet. Definitely.
I like how these flip-flops (but they look more like rubber sandals now) look. They’re very casual and look very sturdy. I like the light grey and navy blue colour combination. Makes it look clean and beach-ready. I love the straps.
You may be wondering why …

I bought these pairs the other day over at all flip-flops in Bonifacio High Street. Naturally, they’re gifts for my younger brother, who celebrated his birthday and for teh boyfriend.
From what I observed, Havaianas have developed a good system for sizes, covering two sizes in a pair. To further illustrate, sizing is in 10-11 or 7-8 and such. This makes it easier for someone like me who’s buying it as a gift. It leaves room for error esp since I’m not certain whether if it will fit the recipient. …

Not that it really matters. I was just curious as to where you guys buy your pairs of Havaianas. I found it amusing that there is a shop that sells just flip-flops like the store all flip-flops, and they only sell the said brand. I have to admit that I’m still quite baffled as to why Havaianas are such a craze here in Manila. Yes, I’ve heard hundreds of testimonies to its comfort and style, but I still see them as pairs of rubber slippers priced outrageously high. Oh, …

Twas just one of those nights wherein teh boyfriend and I would go out, have dinner and see a movie. That time, twas Vantage Point. Anyway, I opted for something that can work well with a little makeup experiment I did while I was preparing. I needed it to write a review on Elizabeth Arden’s new liquid foundation, Intervene. You see, I had used the Bronze Beauty Color Intrigue Bronzing Powder Duo by Elizabeth Arden that came with the entire package.

If there’s a show-stopper that night, Olen’s maxi dress has my vote. Simply gorgeous! I got to sit down with her that night to get a few style bits, particularly where she got her dress — Zara — and the reason why she opted for something stylishly fun to wear. And, oh, I love her hair!

Sunsilk Life Can’t Wait Event
These two women (out of five) were introduced during the event as Sunsilk Ambassadors. They have their respective advocacies that makes them women who best epitomize what the Life Can’t Wait campaign is all about.
They’re wearing their own style and were simply faithful to the event’s motif, which was pink.
