By tradition, Mondays mean a work outfit that leans toward the more formal business or corporate attire (at least from experience). It’s probably due to all the meetings and such which are usually held on this work day. But there are three (3) reasons why I opted to wear flats with a dress on a Monday.

The message is clear. Pushing people to trust more in themselves than what the society dictates, in this case, in terms of their personal style. Highlighting individuals who strive to stay true to who they are and their passions in life will thus be reflected in how they dress, the fashion event has put forth the ideal that in determining one’s identity, results will permeate in one’s lifestyle and fashion.
