Stacked x Military-inspired; Tog du jour

A provocative, avant-garde twist to a typically mannish military-inspired style with its body contouring form, roughed up with ruching details and silver hardware, add to that the alluring dip of the neckline that can go deeper, zipped down. The modest hem length balances out the sexy, just a couple or so inches above the knee; not too short, not too long. The dress immediately reminded me of the iconic French label, Balmain. Must be the buttons. It’s always the buttons.

As much as I love the pairing experiments I’ve been doing, mood wherein only wearing a dress can satiate will always strike. And, due to the casual nature of my errand, I opted for comfort and paired it with a pair of flat sandals. I’d love to wear this dress with a pair of killer shoes, tho! I already can imagine how smashing it’ll look! But, yea, I’ll save that for a different occasion. Commuting in stilts, unsure of how much walking I might end up doing, is simply out of the question. I’d rather be practical than blistered, sore, and sorry.

Camwhoring @ the bus stop, haha

Probably just missed the bus so I had to wait another half hour for the next one. I had to keep myself entertained somehow, haha. Yes, I took the bus earlier today to get to where I needed to be — meeting up with folks for dinner.

Samsung mobile phone circa, er.. let’s just focus on the stacked rings, shall we?

Quite happy that I’ve managed to find a stack worth buying and again from Sportsgirl. I’ve been canvasing for options and delightfully stumbled on this set earlier this week. I halved it and wore them on two fingers since stacking them on one ended up feeling too awkward to wear. The set includes multi-textured rings in Black, Gold, and Silver, and retailed for AUD$ 12.95 (roughly around Php 560.00).

Toy boarding. SKILL. {Maccas Happy Meal Toy, hehe}

I just had to include this photo, haha. My niece readily gave me her Happy Meal toy because she knows I wanted one of them toy skateboards. Too cute. <3

Anyway. How's your day been? Hope your week is turning out to be an awesome one.

xo,
