Studs Wedge Black. Shoes. I’m just about ready to accept the fact that I have ZERO room left in my luggage. Though excess ain’t enough to fill up a BB box. Hm. I should’ve learned by now (seeing how many times I’ve traveled to and from the place, duh) that I shouldn’t bring too much with me since I always end up shopping for stuff anyway. Ah, well. I’ll have to do a practice pack one of these days so I can develop a contingency plan.
For now, back to the new pair of shoes. Not a big fan of wedges but I got me a pair anyway. Let me tell you why.
Studs Wedge Black – Rubi Shoes
Black & Studs
Two things, I knew, were the deciding factors, (1) I want to get a pair of black shoes, and (2) I’d like to get a pair with studs. What I wasn’t planning on was getting them both in a single pair. Not complaining tho!
Studs Wedge Black
Mostly been buying flat shoes since I got here in Australia so I reckoned it’d be a nice change to go for adding a bit of height. Rather than the usual stiletto, I went ahead and bought me a wedge pair. I couldn’t bring myself to put it back on the shelf anyway so might as well get them, haha. It doesn’t hurt that they looked utterly adorable when I tried them on!

What hurt tho was when I broke them in (see this post: Oz Online Shopping, Sportsgirl; Marino Rocks, Tog du jour). I ended up with a blistered toe. Darn pointy shoes. Sniff. Not exactly the best pair to wear if there’s a lot of walking involved. I hope they’ll grow more comfortable as soon as I’ve stretched out the new-ness of the shoe’s material.
This pair will easily work with my current wardrobe and style mood, adding a bit of edge and tough glam. <3
The pair of Rubi shoes retailed for AUD$ 29.95 (roughly around Php 1,290.00) at Cotton On.
Bought a new pair lately? Tell me all about it!
