One of the best things about vacationing in Australia is the sort of travel I do while I’m here. Each trip is different esp since I’m mindful enough to allow the place to surprise me. Last year, most of my time was spent wandering through local activities, and I mean, going about the place like how a local would (to a certain extent, at least). Since this is my 5th trip, you’d think I’ve just about exhausted what Adelaide has to offer but you can never get enough of anything so grand, though austerely cloaked now, can you?
Take for instance the infamous Roo road sign. It was only this year did I get the chance to have my photo taken with the darn thing, haha. Since we’re traveling on roads littered with these road signs, I absolutely insisted that we stop (if convenient and safe, of course!) when we see one.
Thanks for taking my photo, Kuya J!
I don’t mind doing something as tourist-y as posing beside a road sign like that (yes, I don’t do the “tourist-y” thing when I travel — I simply can’t be bothered, haha) but I can’t pass up the opportunity for posterity’s sake (like, it’s that important, eh? Lulz). I dunno. It’s os-tra-li-ya, mate! And we’re headed to the country!
Ah, yes. Tacky as it sounds, I did put together my outfit for that day with “country” and “farm” in mind. We had spent a few days at a Holiday Farm: feeding the animals, riding on horseback, and touring horse paddocks at the back of an old red farm truck named Elsie. Never experienced all that when I was a kid!
In between running from a harmless emu and enjoying a cuppa out on the deck of the Early Settlers Cottage, I found a reason to spend quality time with MrSixty. Here are a few of my favourite snaps from the trip:
Apart from all the wonderful travel experience with my family, I have these photos to help me remember how special that trip was.
I’m currently working on blogging about the other photos on my personal blog, The Parody. I reckon I can publish in a day or two. You can check back on this post for an update which will include the link to the post or go directly on there. I’d appreciate it if you do! I wish you’d find time to see the other photos so you can tell me which one you like best.

Meanwhile, you can tell me about the last time you traveled. Did you put together a trip-inspired outfit? What made that trip special?
