With the threat of cobwebs and hardened dust, a Chick Flick accessory resurfaced. The head band, or Twistband as it’s called, has been around for months now but was sentenced to an indefinite stay within the confines of my dresser drawer, save for that day that my friend H fished it out and wore it for fun as we ran a few errands.

It isn’t because I didn’t want it. I did buy it after all. It’s just that there are times when I buy something out of a shadow of an impulse, it suffers a state wherein it’ll be put on hold as I wait for inspiration to strike. I had my long curly hair back then as well and I’m not a fan of pretty-ing up an already pretty hair (if you know what I mean).

Here I am with my hip short hair cut, in the land of Summer and beaches, I’m inspired. Woke up yesterday to word of a tiny adventure: I get to drive my sister’s pink car, Yvonne, that afternoon. Feat is they have the cars on the left side on the road and with drivers on the right side of the car. Disoriented, yes, but nailed that sucker. Good thing, too. I reckon the twistband won’t keep my head on straight otherwise, haha.
