Call it positive thinking. Regardless of my present schedule and work load, I recently bought a new bikini (from U Swim) as if I’ve made vacation plans this weekend. I didn’t. Make plans, that is. It’s just my way to will something I’m wishing for into being. It is Summer, after all. I’m not going to waste away indoors and in front of the laptop for the next couple of months. The heat is driving me mental.
I want to be near the water — salty, if possible. I want to get toasted again.
I want to breathe in the salty sea air while I listen to music and read a book. I want to write in leisure. I want to take photos. I don’t mind dusting off the sand from my camera at the end of the day. I want to see how my blue bikini will fare against the blue sea.
I just want to get out of the city for a while.

Otherwise, I might end up chopping my curls off.
