When I wrote about the skincare regimen I’m currently on early this year, I mentioned having chosen to go for OLAY Total Effects. With only my experience with their Regenerist line to back up this choice, I’m satisfied enough to say now that this skincare line has proven itself to me. PLUS it doesn’t hurt that it’s more affordable than Regenerist. With continued use over the past few months, I’ve grown fond of Total Effects to the point of becoming more open to the idea of trying its other products. Well, to save myself from the danger of overstating such, I’ve only tried one product so far and it’s the Advanced Daily Moisturiser with Cooling Essence.

I had needed to replenish the OLAY Total Effects Anti-Ageing Serum (as pictured above) and I knew I would need a fresh bottle of the moisturiser as well. I had thought that it would be a good opportunity for me to review a different product from the line this time around, hence, the switch.
I’m still giving myself time to use this new moisturiser before drawing up conclusions. One thing I have to note now, though, is that it doesn’t have SPF. This would mean that if you are to use it, you will need to apply another product that has SPF (some use sunblock) separately. This bit can be workable for some, irksome for others. I’ll work on writing down my thoughts as soon as I feel I’m finished with road-testing the moisturiser.
Have you tried this particular moisturiser from OLAY Total Effects? Care to share your experience with it?
