Loving how fashionistas have embraced the maxi trend with outfits that borders boho and prep. I decided to jump in and dish out one look even when the weather’s too cold for skirts. With a little ingenuity, I was able to air out the MinkPink Maxi Skirt I ordered online (I reckon I mentioned it here). Yes, though I’m crushing on midis, I’m open to trying out other lengths as well. And I thought I’d go for the bodycon sort (an effort to show off what curves I’ve got after putting on a bit of meat, haha) rather than the usual billowy kind. While the latter looks fine, I’d much rather go for a different look if I were to try this particular trend. Going for a maxi dress is a mighty fine option (typical, too) but I believe folks’ attention are directed towards its little sister, the maxi skirt.
I felt like dressing up a bit as I ran a few errands in the city and I was meeting with my sister (and a few of her colleagues) at a pub since I’m leaving for Singapore on Friday then Manila next week. Yes, I’ll be home soon!

What are your thoughts about the maxi trend? Would you go for dresses or skirts?
P.S. One other great thing about the skirt is that it can double as a strapless dress, haha.
