It’s better that there’s a good mix of style found in each wardrobe, IMHO. There is beauty in variety, don’t you agree? I’ve been telling myself that I needed to add more interesting pieces and challenging myself to make bolder style decisions whenever I’m out shopping. However, my fascination with the flowing, batwing and kimono-esque sleeve didn’t stop with the Kimono Tees I got from Sportsgirl last month and other tops I’ve bought so far. There’s something about the sort that tickles my fancy and puts a smile on my face.
This time around I went for a more romantic and very feminine take on the sleeve with its lace trimmings and delicate fabric. It was for a different reason when I dropped in the store in Rundle Mall last week. I was in the mood for some accessory shopping hence the following posts on necklaces, cuffs and a ring:
But after spotting it (they call it Atherial Kimono), I can almost picture a number of ways I’d be wearing the darn thing. I was smitten. It retailed for AUD$ 89.95 (roughly around Php 4,034.00).
But look at how this choice contrasted with the first one. It sometimes astounds me how my style mood would quickly shift. The only explanation I can give is that I’ve been looking for a sleeveless shirt for quite sometime now and I reckoned this ought to satiate it somehow. Problem is, I’ve been hoping to get a cropped one and the fabric a bit less fluid than this one BUT the opportunity to get something like it was too interestingly unique (for me, at least) to pass up. The Archer Blouse retailed for AUD$ 79.95 (roughly around Php 3,585.00).
What sort of sleeve type are you into lately?
