I love scents. I started out with colognes (remember Denenes, Angel’s Breath and Nenuco?) and scented lotions before plunging into EDTs and the more expensive perfume. Of course, since I was still young and with a meager allowance to live on, I’d end up sneaking a spray or two from my mum’s stash. But I began to grow a nose for what scent I’d like to wear. Now, out of all the options in the market today, you will always end up with a favourite or two and one of my favourite fragrances is bottled (boxed perhaps? loljk) up in this red Gucci EDT called Rush. It’s made of a thousand hearts.
Gucci Rush Eau de Toilette
Gucci Rush was actually introduced back in 1999 and I wore this scent back in 2005. The combination of florals and spices results in an intoxicating and addictive sensual burst that created a huge impression on me. I had my good friend TJ to for gifting it to me. And I still prefer this over Gucci Rush 2 that’s why I still keep buying it.
Notes: Gardenia, Freesia, Jasmine, Vanilla, Patchouli.
Style: This fragrance is euphoric and intoxicating.
For a bit of trivia, it actually won Women’s Best Packaging of the Year – Prestige during the 2000 FiFi Awards.
Retails for Php 5,500.00.
I’m also happy to have the opportunity to wear a couple of other Gucci fragrances: Gucci Guilty (Notes: Mandarin, Pink Pepper, Peach, Lilac, Geranium, Amber, Patchouli. Style: Daring. Rich. Sexy.) and Flora by Gucci (Notes: Citrus Accord, Peony, Rose, Osmanthus Flower, Pink Pepper, Sandalwood. Style: Elegant. Natural. Spontaneous.). Both smell divine!
