Poll: Where do you do your Holiday Shopping?
It’s that time of the year again. Christmas is just around the corner and the stress involved in all the preparations is reaching greater heights with each passing minute. Is the Christmas tree even set up and adorned yet? Better yet, did you remember to file that leave from work so you can freely spend Christmas with family and friends? There are gifts to be wrapped, menus to be planned and major shopping to be completed. It’s the last weekend of November, people!
The holiday season will always mean shopping season. May it be buying decors for the living room or groceries for Christmas Eve dinner, we’re all making sure to include that we do a bit of shopping in our already busy (most likely already cramped up!) holiday schedule. And since we’ve always kept to the tradition of gift-giving on Christmas, we’re sure to hit a few places to find that trinket to hide inside the sock and to buy that item for your loved one (after months of dropping hints), have it wrapped and nestled under the Christmas tree.
But in an effort to lessen the stress, I’ve prepared a poll to help each other out. I reckon some of you are as good as done with your own Christmas shopping but there are some who have lost track of time and are sure to be dashing around places in haste for the next couple of weeks to do just that. Let’s compare notes on where you folks usually do your holiday shopping.
Do take the time to answer the poll. It’s quick, painless and free!
Feel free to come back and check how the poll’s going. Leave reactions, tips and such to other readers! Let’s help each other out.
If you’re just starting out with your Holiday shopping, best of luck! It will be fun, chaotic and perhaps even frustrating. Imagine, choosing to be on the road during rush hour. Just remember to keep your cool and enjoy it. Otherwise, you’ll miss out on what it’s all about.
Here’s a personal tip: if you’re planning on going on a shopping trip to Divisoria, allot half of your day spent. Since it’s already too close to Christmas, it’ll be really crowded so make sure to wear something light and casual, esp the footwear. Be careful with your wallet and such! Also, don’t forget to bring a bottle of water. Oh, I know it’s a no-work, no-class day on Monday but it’s still not the best time to go if you don’t want to get mushed by the sheer volume of shoppers who are planning on going that same day.
Happy shopping!

Aww I didn’t get to vote. But for me it’s Mall if you’re looking for a good quality gift for special people; Bazaar/Tiange for close friends; Divisoria for acquaintances, neighbors, officemates, etc. (e.g. people you just gotta give gifts to, like for exchange gifts); Online stores for those gifts you can’t find anywhere else.
