Garnier Skin Naturals Pure SOS Blemish Clear Pen

You wake up with a spot on your face, perhaps it’s just bed mark but it can also be a zit. On any given day, you might have managed but a zit simply won’t do since you were so looking forward to that big date you’ve got planned later that night (you still can’t believe he finally asked you out!) and the zit can spoil your, otherwise, perfect day. There’s got to be a way to get rid of it. Will a concealer be enough?

If you’re one of those folks who’s looking for a quick fix for just about anything — it can be largely due to an unbelievably hectic schedule or that you simply can’t be bothered with putting too much junk on your skin just because — this ought to be an interesting thing for you.

Though I do occasionally get a blemish or two, it’s never been a huge deal. What made me pick up the box as the cashier rang up my purchases, I can’t really explain it but yea, I did end up buying a product that just might help salvage an “oh-no-I’ve-got-a-zit day” and hopefully turn things around. But since I might rarely use it, let’s just say it was out of pure curiosity.

Garnier Skin Naturals
SOS Blemish Clear Pen

How does it work?

Pure SOS Blemish Clear Pen has been designed for optimum efficiency and fast results:

  • Dry imperfections immediately
  • Smooth skin irregularities and marks
  • Reduce imperfections in 5 hours

How do I use it?

Apply directly on the imperfection as soon as it appears and repeat application until it has disappeared.

I have to admit that I didn’t touch it for a good few days but when I did, I didn’t really expect the surprise waiting for me upon waking up the following day. I had a spot or two that I had thought of using the pen on plus a few small ones I was nursing back to some decent state. When I applied it that night (right before going to bed), I had leveled my expectations since I didn’t really think that I’d find a product that fixes anything overnight. Twas nice and cool (menthol came into mind) when I applied it. It was sticky at first but leaving it be, it’ll dry up pretty quickly so it’s not really a bother to have on.

When I woke up the next day and as soon as I remembered what I did the previous night, I immediately ran my fingers around the areas I had applied the product on to get a feel of the skin. Imagine my surprise when I felt smooth skin! I quickly got up from my bed (vertigo sucks, btw) and headed for the mirror to examine it more closely. It actually worked! Well, not 100% but there were very notable visible results (probably around 85%)! I had to laugh in amazement (and I’m not kidding). I really didn’t expect to see results so soon.

I have yet to try and check if it will deliver the same results within the stated time that it said it will. It’d be mighty impressive it will. I reckon it will still be possible to keep the day perfect after all. Waking up with a zit won’t be too much of a hassle since there’s a Garnier blemish clear pen to give me a hand. Now, let’s hope there’s a quick fix for the other imperfections in my life.

It costs around Php 200.00 in First Aid, Greenbelt 3, Makati City.

Additional note:

  • It actually stings a little if you apply it over broken skin.

I don’t usually have pimples either, but when I do it bugs me so much!
I recently got a couple of zits (damn stress!), so I tried the Blemish Clear Pen after hearing so much about it. I started using it yesterday but it doesn’t seem to be working as fast as it worked with you. The changes are slight for me, and it dries up my face. :( (I have sensitive dry skin)
Do you have any suggestions? I really hope this clears up soon!

I got this 4 months ago, since I had occasional breakouts.
I do have hyper-sensitive skin, but turns out that when I use Pond’s White Beauty Detox Cream before I apply the Blemish Clear Pen, it doesn’t sting as much.
I also use Eskinol Skin Therapy Gluta-Milk Night Cream (to lighten the said mark-sometimes you’re left with brown patches of skin, which are really annoying.), and help it out as well with Eskinol Ageless Cream at night.
    Hope this helped you ladies!
