Twas a rainy week last week and the weather sort of reflected the mood that I was in. Before it ended, I found myself heading down South for a couple of things one night. It wasn’t actually planned but I resorted to reacting to events rather than sticking with what was on the schedule. It was something I needed to do at that time. Well, I usually do this when I’m supposed to be doing something else but don’t really want to do it. Call it my version of running away. Hehe.
First stop was a quick visit with my bestfriend‘s daughter (my god-daughter) at Asian Hospital, squeezed a short coffee break at Coffee Bean and was followed by an overnight-er at Amici; crashed at my friend’s place, where the outfit photos were taken.
Good thing too because I wanted a snap since it’s a nice break from all the jeans/trousers I’ve been wearing lately. I got to wear the diner dress I bought from Ice in Australia a few years back with Marie and socks no less!
One of the things I didn’t really like about the new maryjanes is that it’s a chore to buckle up, which usually mean undoing (and doing!) a minimum of 2 straps per shoe. It’s a bit tricky whenever I need to rush out the door or if I’m going out and I’ll be driving because, as you can see, it takes an effort and a half!
Ah, well. We can’t have it all, all the time. Special thanks to P for taking the photos, letting me crash and for listening.
