Now back from an unplanned blog hiatus — so unfortunate since I know a lot of folks are waiting for me to announce the winners of my Celebratory Contest, which I’ll be doing shortly btw — armed with a couple of reasons.
As I’ve undeniably told you a few months back, I’ve taken on an offline work that ate up a HUGE chunk of my time (and energy). Initially, it had caused me to deliver posts sporadically than usual. And at the start of the new year, I’ve taken on a new role which required more of my time, hence, the absence.
The other major reason for the hiatus is that the lappytop I had been using decided to retire two weeks into my new “work status”. Yes, it may have seemed too much of a horrible coincidence since circumstances I had found myself in at that time were digging a huge trench between my online stuff and myself. It was quite a change. I’ve missed blogging terribly.
Now, how come I’m back? Well, after months of hard work, I’ve managed to turn things around a bit and made things happen.
Last Thursday, I welcomed a new laptop, the very first laptop I’ve bought and christened him MrBoo (yea, most of my gadgets are “male”).
15.4″ MacBook Pro / 2.8 GHz / 4GB / 500GB | PowerMac, Greenbelt 3, Makati City
MrBoo’s best mate is Magic, the Magic Mouse, which I thought might be a good addition to complete this package.
Now, I’m back. Slowly working towards getting things back on track. I hope I didn’t miss much while I was away and I’d like to thank all the Style Manila readers who checked up on me. It certainly made me feel appreciated. So, ok now, enough about me. Let’s get back to all things fashion & street fashion, beauty and shopping in the gorgeously stylish metro we all love, Manila!
