Early Friday, I had decided to hit a couple of beauty stores before my weekend starts esp since I know my Saturday (yesterday) schedule’s quite full. So, I found myself dragging K yet again in an under-an-hour-shopping trip held in Glorietta.
The main reason why I needed to stop by The Body Shop was the need to replenish my Tea Tree Oil Cover Stick from TBS because mine is about to run out but I spotted a couple of things that I just had to also put in my shopping cart. Gah.
I’ve been meaning to buy new makeup brushes to replace the ones I’ve been using so I thought I’d start with a Foundation brush purchase esp since I use liquid makeup a lot. I’ve been using either disposable makeup sponges or my fingers. I’d occasionally use a brush esp whenever I use the Neutrogena Mineral Sheers Liquid Makeup.
As most of you all know, TBS has this selection of seasonal lip balms and a personal favourite is the Cranberry lip balm so while I was at the counter paying, I spotted it and decided to get one as well, despite the annoying sales lady who clearly lacked comprehensive abilities (sorry but I was thoroughly irritated with her know-it-all attitude but couldn’t answer a simple yes or no question, that’s all.) Good thing I loved TBS otherwise I would’ve ditched the shopping trip just because of this encounter. Anyway, it’s a curious thing that the lip balm is now packed in this tin container. Odd size and shape but it’s a little bulkier than usual if you decide to carry it around.

Definitely tea Tree Oil from TBS! I’m almost done with my 3rd bottle
Got a lip plumper from The Face Shop the other day and I’m absolutely in love with it! My last purchase from The Body Shop was the shimmery White Musk lotion a few weeks back, it was on sale for 400 bucks.

Teeyah: It is! It’s the only lip balm from TBS that I use for about a decade now.
I like their White Musk Oil, liquid eyeliner and their mascara (the one that has two parts, white first then the black).
