Dove Pro Age Beauty Cream Bar

10 November 2009 1,228 views 6 Comments

I’ve heard mixed reactions when it comes to using Dove soaps. Some say that it’s hard to rinse off and others rave about how it helps moisturise their skin. If you’re going to ask me, I belong to the group that falls under the latter. Though I can appreciate the squeaky clean effect of other soaps, I prefer the after-shower feel that I get from Dove. It’s true. It does help moisturise my skin and that weighs a lot.

So, yea. I’ve been a Dove user for a good half a decade. I guess it’ll take a lot for me to switch. I’ve noticed that even my younger brother had switched. I can’t say if twas my doing but, hey, it doesn’t really matter.

Personally, Dove has become a trusted brand. So, when I spotted this particular Dove bar soap in a russet/maroon box, I was immediately intrigued.

It’s Dove’s own way of dipping their feet in the anti-aging skincare scene — Dove Pro Age Beauty Cream Bar.

Dove Pro Age Beauty Cream Bar - Share on Ovi

Retails for Php 65.00. Available in most drugstores or beauty stores.

I have yet to use it. It’s been a while since I last used cream bars since it can get quite messy (what else can you expect if it contains a lot of moisturisers, yes?) but I’m making an exception. I hope this experiment won’t end badly rather hoping that it will prove to be worth the buy. Well, I’ll try to update you folks after a couple weeks or so of using it.

Meanwhile, have any of you folks tried it? Share your thoughts! I’d really appreciate it!

I really believe in using Dove Cream Bar or Body wash. My daughter has been using this since age 3 and I for the last 2 years since we both have sensitive skin. I tried to switch to other baby bath soap but I had to go back because of doctors advise. Though Dove can’t fight pimple I am using anti acne facial wash but if you want a smooth and baby like skin, use dove (unscented or for sensitive skin)

have tried it. been using dove cool moisture for the longest time and im not going back, i love pro age so much. the little beads (im not sure what its called) dont do much, but i have fair skin and im pretty sure this bar makes me even fairer if that’s even possible. i hate other soaps that promises to exfoliates your skin, it dries up my skin and gives me allergies, so itchy i cant stop scratching.

..”cream bars since it can get quite messy (what else can you expect if it contains a lot of moisturisers, yes?)”- mine doesn’t get messy, i dont know why. =)

I’ve been using the pro-age beauty cream bar for the past week or so and it’s true, it’s not messy at all. It’s interesting that it makes your skin fairer. I haven’t seen any signs of it but I’ll keep an eye out. Let’s see if it’ll have the same effect on me. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
