L’Oreal Elseve Nutri-Gloss Serum Lumiere

Since Jean brought the subject on the Elseve Serum up on a previous post, I thought it’d be fitting to re-post an old feature I did when I first purchased and started using this particular hair serum.

L’Oreal
Elsève Nutri-Gloss
Serum Lumière

New L’Oreal Elsève Nutri-Gloss Serum Lumière with breakthrough mirror shine formula and jojoba oil nourishes, smoothes, and protects your hair from root to tip. It brings out the shine of your hair, whilst caring for it.

There’s nothing better than shiny and healthy-looking tresses. Ever since I started minding my locks (let’s just say it’s about close two decades, heh), I’ve been looking for ways to keep it nourished and sleek. I’ve used and loved (still do!) the Kérastase Nutritive Sérum Oléo-Relax for years.

But since I’m currently using the L’Oreal Elsève Nutri-Gloss Haircare System, Pearl Protein, I decided that it’d be good to experiment on the hair serum under the same line. Thinking that it may fully maximise the hair care system’s effectiveness.

So far, I’m quite pleased with the results. It doesn’t leave a greasy-feeling and it does, somewhat, tame the frizz. It also leaves my hair shiny and vibrant, something that I truly, truly appreciate. It doesn’t hurt that it smells SOOO good! It’s great that the scent compliments the shampoo and condition scent.

I like the idea that I’m using something that makes my hair look good AND, at the same time, nourishes and protects. My rebonded hair needs all the conditioning and nourishing it can get!

What about you ladies? Have you tried this hair serum from L’Oreal? If you’re using something different, what’s your current preference?

Cool coincidence, Sasha! I’m using the Nutri-Gloss shampoo and conditioner. It’s a toss between the L’oreal (Playball?) anti frizz serum and the L’oreal Elseve serum for me. Thanks for the review! :)

I haven’t tried the anti-frizz. Is it any good?

Tried it not much of a difference. It feels really slick at first application then effect is not sustained even for a couple of hours.. :|
