The notice for a package from Canada arrived in my mailbox early this week. A smile had slowly turned into a wide grin. They’re here?! A girl couldn’t be happier. A packet filled with MAC makeup gifted by Marion from Canada was ready for pick-up. Darn shame that you’re only allowed to pick packages up on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I only definitely have the car on Wednesdays! Gah.

Well, I did have the option to ask my brother to leave the car yesterday since I was scheduled to go to an event Thursday night but I figured it’d be a nice change if I try commuting again, er, at least for a day. It’s been YEARS since I last commuted by jeepney (Cabs are the way to go if the car’s unavailable). Believe me, I was practically melting all throughout and by the time I got back, I’m SO ready to hit the shower (which I did). It was, nonetheless, interesting to notice the things I’ve been missing out on as a relatively non-commuter person. It’s fascinating to see a couple making out on the pedestrian overpass in the middle of the afternoon. TMI? Sorry ’bout that but, hey, true story. LOL.

Anyway, I made quick stopover at one of the Macca’s along the way. One, to cool off; two, to get me some Twister fries (yay!) and three, to rip the packet open. I was that excited to see my new babies. LOL.

I wanted to play with them straight-away but I was already pressed for time by the time I got back. And true enough, my ride arrived just as I stepped out of the shower. Gawd. Good thing the shoe lady didn’t mind waiting as I prepped. However, I did decide to experiment on the MAC Brushed Metal-X in Gilded Ash and the MAC Pro Longlash in Barelash so I figured an FOTD is in order.

I took the photo after I got back from the Fil-Aussie designer Leo Salinas show in Makati Shangri-La. Yea, that’s how I look like a couple of glasses of white wine and a couple more of mojitos (No, folks. The streets were safe as I didn’t drive last night, LOL). Btw, I decided to air out the Satin Ruffled Halter Top by Carolina K. Morgan. Worked well with the Barelash. I really must write something about that mascara, what novelty! Twas such fun to wear!
