Sasha Loves Green
We interrupt the style sighting posts (yes, there are more posts to come!) to announce: “I Love Green!” Er, that sounds a tad bit silly and unnecessary but bear with me for a few minutes.
Northwest flight 71 touched Manila soil roughly around half past 10 in the evening last Sunday. A very, very wet night and the traffic going to the arrival area was heinous. I wonder if these people weren’t aware that there are two ways to enter the airport; why choose the flyover? Anyway, after a lil over a year in the US, my younger brother is now back home. And he comes bearing gifts! I love this bit about our culture — pasalubong!
Once inside the car, he suddenly told me, “I hear you don’t like Green anymore.” Now where did he get that preposterous idea?! “Mum told me.” What?! “I still love Green, silly” was all that I said. “Oh, I thought I’d have to figure out who I’d give the green camera bag I bought.” Green + Camera bag? He must be mad to think I wouldn’t want that for myself! Ha.

So, okay, it’s not exactly a camera bag. But it’s still Green.

With silver buckles and rivets as the only accents; breaking the green colour.

Handcrafted using Full Grain Cowhide Leather (note: the smooth and soft sort) to boot.
“This is a Coach Bag. It was handcrafted in Vietnam from Full-Grain Cowhide Leather. Variations in the grain area characteristic. Its superior craftsmanship reflects our commitment to enduring quality.”

Fully lined and features useful compartments inside the bag.

And has the metal stopper at the bottom.

Tagged with the original Coach emblem, it holds a promise of an everyday fun lugging. Made useful with all the features already mentioned and fun just because it’s in this pretty shade of Green.

This bag reminds me of the other Green Tote I own, which also had buckles and rivets. It’s smaller, softer and definitely lighter, though. Another thing they share in common is that both are gifted by guys. Funny. LOL.
Anyway, since this new bag is a gift, I don’t have an idea on how much it is (so please don’t ask) but I’m sure my brother didn’t spend more than a hundred for it. He probably got it on sale or something. If he did spend more than what I expected, it’ll be one helluva surprise!
Big thanks to my bro for the Coach. Much appreciated!

Hi Sasha,
Great bag! Actually sent you an invite for a green fashion event at The Loft, Rockwell Center this Friday, June 12.
Not sure if you’ve read it. Hope you can attend.
