I agree with Antonella. The clothes are great and I love Promod. The Indi collection is nice but I kinda prefer the Pirate collection better. Would rather have liked the shoot focusing more on the clothes’ details and simplicity rather than having models that are a bit off with their poses. Would probably have loved this photos more if there was more style presented into it. Nevertheless, Promod never fails to have amazing collections in their racks.

The clothes are great. I love it. Promod has great clothes. But it’s this fashion shoot that didn’t do justice to the clothes. It’s either they didn’t have enough budget to hire a stylist with good taste and a make-up artist with no experience or the shoot was hurried and pulled off last minute without any preparation. Some pictures remind of SM Department Store advertisements.

Jena & Laurie: I actually had thought of the same thing. Considering the pieces separately, they hold a lot of promise but how they seem to be styling the current collection (on product photos and the fashion show) gave a poor, close to being tacky, impression. They did look chic on the models strutting the ramp but hair and makeup didn’t really suit the look; this goes the same for the product photos, fell short of expectations. Additional thoughts here.

I agree with dMesa; something feels off. The models are too made up and try to be too pretty. When I think of French fashion, I think of simple and effortless chic. I think of the women in Godard films. The style is a bit too contrived for my taste, but I definitely will have to check out the Dreamy Poet collection. The clothes’ subtle hues and feminine draping are classic and, compared to the clothes in the other collections, they do not look cheap.
