Yes, howdy folks! LOL.

One of the things I remember about my visits to Baguio when I was little was going horseback riding in Wright Park so can you guess what this particular tourist did? Er, duh. I went horseback riding!

Growing up, I’ve had this fascination with horses and had dreams of owning one (out of my budget, of course). And the last time I was on a horse, I reckon I was around 8 years old. So when I found myself in Wright Park, I just couldn’t let the idea of riding again go. So for half an hour, I prodded my horse to go ’round the park several times, nudged and nudged for it to trot or even gallop to no avail. But I knew I had a silly grin on the entire time. LOL. Php 150.00 poorer and a calloused arse, I dismounted the horse still giddy with excitement. I certainly want to do it again!

When I reached the Botanical Garden afterwards, I spotted this native Fedora and with my recent experience with horseback riding, I couldn’t help but get me one. Also thinking that it can be a great hat to wear on the beach. What do you think? I only got it for Php 70.00 so I reckon it’s not bad.

I wore the hat til twas time to drive back to Manila. Oh, I did get malicious reactions from some locals (quite sad really) particularly from a group of young people who did a dance fit for those tacky variety shows. They’re so cool like that, you see. Heh.
