The M and M Shopping
Twasn’t exactly part of the plan but, heck, I was with the gurls and it couldn’t be helped. At least, that was the case earlier. One had prodded everyone else to go shop and shop we did. LOL.
After a late lunch in CPK (Portobello Mushroom Ravioli and White Pizza with Smoked Bacon are always well-hearted, hehe), we headed toward the shops in Glorietta. My first stop is the first M — Mango. I told myself that I’ll just browse and check out what’s new (like I can’t do that online, eh?) but I found myself paying extra special attention to the jeans rack. Gah.
I do need a new pair of jeans anyway. I want them flared. Meet my new friend, Carmen. I loved Stella, too but I have to limit myself to getting just ONE pair.
Why buy jeans right smack in the middle of Summer? Well, I can’t have my closet full of shorts and no decent pair of jeans, can I? Besides, I consider jeans practical for rainy weather.

I grabbed this Gorgeous T-Shirt for look purposes while I was trying on the jeans but it eventually fell into my shopping cart as well since I have a soft spot for shirts lately. Basketcase.

And I thought I’m all done but we went further in and closer to the second M — MAC. I’m like an iron filling, powerless to the pull of the magnet. It’s the lipsticks.. the lipsticks, I tell ‘ya!
I ended up with a new MAC Frost Lipstick in Bombshell and a MAC Mineralize Blush Duo in Grand Duo.

Curiously, I don’t really wear pink lipstick but when I tried this one on, I couldn’t believe that it actually looked good on me. Also, if you’ve been following this blog for a while, you’ll know that I bought a Neutrogena Blush not too long ago. So, what made me buy a new one? Well, apart from wanting to try every piece of makeup that MAC offers, I’m venturing into bolder shades, hence, the bright rosy-pink lipstick and the copper pink mélange + plum blush. Sampling it at the counter had already left me giddy so I can’t wait to really try them. Full review to follow.

I burned a hole in my pocket but am happy nonetheless. I wonder if seeing a shrink will be cheaper. HOWEVER, I think I’ll stick to retail therapy. I do get a whole lot more out of it, don’t you agree? Hehe.

Somehow, the shopping vibe is infectious. I did shop again, but this time in an ukay-ukay. I found Fioni shoes (the one with a gold emblem) for only 300 pesos. :))

Hey, I was wondering if you could help me Sasha or Miss Manuel. I don’t know which you would prefer, but do you happen to know of a place that does a good job of leather care? I recently moved here from Cali and I have yet to find a place that does leather care. I have a blue motorcycle jacket I bought from Zara a couple of weeks back and after a few nights going out, it already smells like smoke. Any suggestions?
