Alongside the re-opening of the Adidas store in Power Plant Mall, Rockwell is the launch of the Adidas by Stella McCartney Spring/Summer 09 collection Wednesday of last week. The exclusive event for media and select patrons was held at the store wherein it started with a ceremony blessing the store, followed by cocktails, a fashion show showcasing the Adidas by Stella McCartney SS 09 collection and culminated with the unveiling of the newest spokesperson for the brand, TV personality Iza Calzado.

I did spot Iza in the crowd when I came in with my friend plus I did get to meet and chat with Kat of Adidas Philippines and Hans Yao for a bit.

Since I came in late and missed everything (darn coding AND traffic, pah), all I can offer you are snaps of the collection on display.

My friend, Thea and I simply perused the racks and window shopped. Taking mental notes of the stuff we’d love to buy for our upcoming beach trips (yes, plural! Yay!). And she simply enjoyed getting to know Mr. X, my camera. Hehe.

I know I missed out on the “good stuff” that happened during the event but I still enjoyed hanging out with an old friend of mine (still can’t get over the fact that it’s been half a decade since we last saw each other and hung out!). So, tis all good! Anyway, wait till I show you folks what she wore than rainy Wednesday night. Stay tuned!
