A Night Out in Pantsuits and Falsies

Lucca Pantsuit in Teal | Style Manila - Fashion, Beauty, Shopping, Manila Street FashionTiming couldn’t be more perfect when I brought home this fabulous pantsuit by Lucca courtesy of The Ramp Crossings. It was the very thing I wore to the 6009 House Party Celebrating Originality hosted by Adidas at Embassy Fly last night. One of my targets this year was to buy a pantsuit and here it is. Best bit was I got it for free.

I adore strapless clothes. I know I’m rather thin and stick-ly to be wearing such things (esp since the lack of, ahem, goods) but I simply love the look. Yes, the pantsuit is strapless and it’s in Teal. Fabric’s stretchable but not the sort that you’d think it’s inexpensive. I love the ruched detail that cinches the waist plus that it has a tapered pant leg.

I know I should’ve taken a photo of the outfit (since the photo doesn’t do the pantsuit justice) but I was in a rush to get to the event (was more than a hour late) and I was too tired when I got in. I, however, did manage to take some snaps of my makeup. I got to try on the falsies I bought from e.l.f. and, of course, my new MAC lipstick!

What I had on (FOTD):

Face
PURAN Formula 24-hour Care, Biodroga
Pause & Effect Moisture Cream, Elizabeth Arden
Intervene Makeup in Soft Sunbeige, Elizabeth Arden
Tea Tree Oil Cover Stick (02), The Body Shop

Eye
fafi Eyes Vanilla, MAC
fafi Eyes Hey, MAC
ME Green 450, Shu Uemura
Lash Kit, Eyes Lips Face

Eyebrow
Shimmer Waves in Bronze, The Body Shop

Cheek
Blush in Super Orgasm, NARS

Lip
Frost Lipstick in What A Do!, MAC

I was wearing a liquid eye liner that my stylist had applied after putting on the false eyelashes. I forgot to ask him what brand it was (will try to update when I do get around to asking him again). Also, that’s not really how the lipstick looks like in person. It’s more on the nude-ish side but I guess the the pink coral shade had absorbed the light from the flash from my camera, hence, the lip colour on the photo.

The photo on the left shows off how the falsies ended up looking. I love how it looks so natural save when you see the “roots”. But the general feel (including the lash itself) is so natural that you’d think you’re born with it. Ha. Dream on, I say. LOL. And the one on the right shows the colours and texture of the makeup over-all. Now, do you see why I LOVE the e/s from Shu Uemura? Positively divine mixture of green and gold. I had esp put on 3 layers of it for last night.

Anyway, for folks who are interested in what I wore with the pantsuit, I opted for Zoe (black point-y stiletto pumps), black chandelier earrings and neckwrap from Diva Accessories, and the big clutch from Miss Co.

All in all, I had a great time getting ready for the Adidas event last night. I reckon I wouldn’t have blogged about it otherwise. Hehe.

So, what about you? What did you do last night? Hope your Friday night was as fascinating as mine was!

Pantsuits are absolutely gorgeous! There is one I found that is perfect. In Culte Femme. Black and in the same fabric you mentioned.:)

I don’t even know what pantsuits are, but the teal color is lovely! You should post a photo of you wearing it when you have the chance. :D

Katrina: Oh, I’d love to see that one looks like! Do you have a blog you can post a photo of you wearing it? Multiply? Facebook? Flickr? (Desperate much? Yea, I really want to see it. Hahaha)

Lauren: Pantsuits are like jumpsuits. Think 70s loungewear, the era of the disco glam. Heehee. I’ll try to post a photo when I wear it again. You should’ve come last night but then again I hear you had a more interesting night than I did. ;)
