Beauty Shopping at The Ramp

Like I said, I wasn’t in the mood to go shopping that night but when I had gotten myself involved in the whole free shopping vibe after the event was over, I couldn’t resist to do a little beauty shopping on the side esp when I spotted Eyes Lips Face aka e.l.f at a counter inside The Ramp. I guess if you throw a manic shopper inside a mall, it’ll be like a kid in a candy shop. Shopping is inevitable. Nature has taken its course. Heh.
In my shopping bag:
Mineral Lipstick in Barely Bitten
Php 399.75
Candy Shop Lip Gloss Mocha Maniac
Php 129.75
Dramatic Lash Kit (includes 1 pair of black false eye lashes, lash adhesive and contour tray)
Php 129.75
Of course, I’ll be posting reviews on these beauties in later posts. But let me just say this right now, I love the lipstick’s black tube case and the gloss’ tin case (which I found very vintage-y).
Have any of you folks ever used any of the products from Eyes Lips Face? This is my first time to give this brand a go. Crossing my fingers that it’ll serve value for money spent. Thoughts are welcome.

ELF has ok products. They are mostly a hit or miss since they are so cheap. I’m surprised at how much they cost in the Philippines as they are just a $1 here in the US.
Anyhow, I have some of the brushes and they do the job. I also have the eyeshadow compact case that is refillable with some of the shadows. The shadows were pretty pigmented.
in general, i dont like E.L.F. aside from the price being a total rip off, the quality of their products aren’t at par with say Ever Bilena or Fashion 21.
however, i dont really know how they can go wrong with the mineral lipstick and tin gloss. ^_^ stay away from the gloss in tubes, theyre like elmer’s glue.
the only thing from elf that i like is their Healthy Glow Bronzing Powder. i’ve repurchased this maybe 5 times already in the past year. it does give a great sun-kissed glow. their actual bronzer is too orange.
Nikita: Someone did say that their foundation brush is ok but I’m still skeptical cuz I did find them a bit rough. As for the prices, it’s already a given that local companies enjoy marginal profits from imported products. The occurrence is no longer surprising.
Liz: I think I saw that powder but I was distracted by the lippies. Hehe. Good thing I opted for these two than the tube gloss, thanks!
[...] quick refresher, I bought the e.l.f. Candy Shop Lip Gloss in Mocha Madness at The Ramp early this year. And the Yes Yes Yes Tantalising Lip Butter was [...]
