The All-In-One Accessory

If there’s an accessory that I was really looking to buy whilst in Australia, it’s this one. I’m not saying that one can’t find something like this in Manila. I guess I haven’t been fortunate whenever I’m out shopping.
From experience, I knew it won’t be a problem when I set foot in Australia. People love to accessorise in this place. All you need is a bit of patience, a great pair of legs for walking, and money, of course! Armed with all these, you can be sure that you’ll go home happy and content — for a while at least. Hehe.
Though my intention to go shopping on my last day was frowned upon (hehe), I had insisted that we work around dropping by the city so I can have at least an hour to scour Rundle Mall one last time before I head off to Singapore then onwards to Manila. So, upon reaching the mall, I made a beeline towards DIVA Accessories to immerse myself in my last minute accessory shopping. After singling out the braided headbands, I focused on making my final choice for the neckwraps.
I initially wanted to buy the simpler sort — a plain thin brown braided leather neckwrap — but I spotted this thin braided black leather and chain neckwrap at the bottom shelf. It’s a little more expensive and not in the exact colour I had planned on getting but the chain detail captured my style fancy. Then the idea of getting it in black grew on me. I guess, the rest is history.
I’m sooo attached to it right now. I’ve already worn it as a neckwrap/necklace and bracelet (the latter already worn as such on two occasions!) and I’ve been playing around hairstyles wherein I can wear it as a head piece (think headband). I don’t need to tell you how much I love, eh? It shows! LOL.
