Carrie and the Boyfriend

Putting on the much-awaited boyfriend dress (believe me, I’ve searched high and low since beginning of last year!) which I bought from Cotton On over at Rundle Mall (one of the dresses in the montage) together with Carrie seemed so natural. I’m not sure about you folks but I do get excited about dressing up most of the time. It has that certain creative appeal which helps in expressing one’s personality (and mood, if you may). I reckon there’s a sense of accomplishment in putting together an outfit; acts like a picker-upper. Seems silly but, hey, if you it’s something you enjoy doing — why the hell not?

We only planned on checking out Chinatown that night (a week ago I think) so I did a bit of an alteration to what I actually wore. I ended up wearing Samantha (beginning to notice that my shoes are so Sex & the City! LOL!) and minus the scarf, put on earrings and my vintage charm bracelet BUT I did wear this outfit on that day I met Karen Cheng.

This mini-photoshoot was a small request I had asked from my sister, hence, the outfit. Thanks, sis! I hope you can take more photos of me in the future!
