Dresses: The Love Affair Continues

Dresses: ICE & FILO

This is one affair that will never end, I believe. There will always be reasons and seasons to buy and wear them. My apparent attraction has never fizzled and I guess will continue to foster and indulge in this passionate affair.

Dresses are solely reserved for women and are designed to let the wearer express herself accordingly. From fun and flirty to glamourous and sexy. There will always be a dress to fit your mood.

I hadn’t planned on it but I actually bought a total of seven (7) dresses since I set foot here in Australia and from just three (3) brands: ICE (Harbour Town), FILO (Glenelg) and Cotton On (Rundle Mall).

Here’s a collection of photos with me trying on the various dresses I had bought.

The ones I bought from ICE:

I love all of them! Each one has its own unique appeal. I finally have that Diner Girl dress that I’ve been meaning to get since last year, a floral dress (but I still want one with sleeves!) and a very bold choice is the blue checked strapless dress with tulle accent — it’s such a fun piece!

Here are the ones I bought from FILO:

I love hoodies hence the purchase plus I like to build on cream and very light hued clothes and the one in the middle is a cute dress I couldn’t let go. And, of course, something to satisfy the need to feel a bit sexy on some night esp when I feel like dancing is the black strapless dress with that silver rivet detail on the drop waist fabric belt which is part of the dress.

And, finally, the one I bought from Cotton On:

i wasn’t able to buy myself a boyfriend shirt so I settled on this boyfriend dress in brown. I’ve been meaning to buy one since early last year anyway — late again. LOL. Ah, well.

Yes, I had a bit of time in my hands on this very hot Australian Summer day so I thought it’d be fun to do a montage of sorts. I had fun doing this little project and thought it’d be great to share my dress shopping this way.

Hi Juday, yea, I’m still here. Happy to know that you frequent Style Manila. Thanks much! Glenelg is one of the bay areas here in SA (South-west of the city, me thinks). And YES, I love Harbour Town for some great outlet shopping! LOL.

My fave is the third dress from Ice. Very sexy-sophisticated.
