Australia 08 | Sasha on the Cockle Train Ride

Sometimes, you just can’t help it, yea? If you find yourself standing in front of a mirror with a camera in your hands, you just might try and take a photo of your reflection. Personally, I don’t do this often HOWEVER if I find the light gorgeous, I simply can’t let the moment pass!

Hence, the photo. LOL.

In an ex-Royal carriage, which was reportedly the very carriage that Prince Charles and Princess Di had ridden in when they took the Cockle Train ride that runs from Victor Harbour to Goolwa when they visited Australia at one time. Cool trivia, huh?

This is just a glimpse of what I wore on that cold, cold day. The dress is actually one of the new dresses I bought, a checkered hoodie dress worn with a cami underneath plus tights and ballerina flats. Had put on the cardi when the weather turned chilly.

Funny how I don’t look sick in the photo. I was actually nursing a slight fever at that time, coupled with major cough and colds which are still in full swing right this very minute. Blech.

[...] What’s cool about the Plaid trend is that it appeals to both sexes, which explains its stickiness. Some of my guys friends actually came up to me earlier this year, asking if I can tell them the places where it’s best to look for plaid shirts and I’ve spotted others in shirts, dresses, etc. And as you can see, Mappy opted for a bit of colour while Chienie went the standard black and white route. The latter reminded me of something I bought in Australia, partially seen worn here: Mirrors in Trains. [...]
