Accessories, Birthdays and Christmas

The Accessory Box

The beauty of having people know what your interests are is the idea that they’d find it easy to give you gifts that you’ll surely appreciate. My sister knows exactly what I would like hence the two gifts I received — one for my birthday and the other for Christmas.

This accessory or jewelry box is one of the Christmas gifts she and and her family gave me. It’s so cute! Size is one thing but check out the design! SHOES! (Screams the shoe addict, haha.)

Yea, it is small that it can only take in small-sized accessories or jewelry. Right now, I’m using it to store the ones I usually wear, like the new pairs of hoop earrings and studs I bought from Equip in Rundle Mall, and other knick-knacks like the plastic ring I got from the Christmas cracker (keeping it for sentimental reasons, heehee).

The 6-piece earrings set composed of three (3) hoop earrings and three (3) studs cost me $15 (around Php 600.00), which I thought was reasonably priced since I am getting six (6) pairs of earrings.

(Note: in my outfit posts, I’ve made a mistake of crediting Diva for them but I’ve updated the posts and added this erratum. My apologies.)

And as for the one I received for my birthday, my sister gave me a long necklace that composed of various stones and crystals from Expressions. Isn’t it lovely? Too bad it’s too big for the accessory box then these two gifts would’ve complemented each other! LOL. Ah, well. This necklace now sits comfortably in a fabric pouch; awaiting an occasion for me to air it out.
