Style Manila Hits the Land Down Under
By the time you folks read this, I’ll be on board the 10-hour MNL - SGP - ADL flight via Singapore Air. I’ll be spending the holidays (and then some) in the land down under — Australia.
Though Style Manila is primarily devoted to all things local (Philippines, to be exact), traveling to different countries give me, as the keeper of this blog, new perspectives and inspirations. Earlier this year, I went to Vietnam and Cambodia but decided to leave work behind (translation: didn’t bring the lappytop). But I did tell the Style Manila readers a bunch of stories about the fashion finds and shopping I did as soon as I got back. What’s different this time, apart from me bringing work with me, I’ll be in Australia for a while.
It’s going to be interesting if I get to do a bit of my Style Sighting Series during my stay (to all the fashionable Filipinos in Oz, hope I bump into you!), in any case, I just might entertain you guys with my personal style photos again. It’s been a while, yes? Ah, well. We’ll soon see.
Anyway, I’ll be out of commission for at least a couple of days but as soon as I settle in, you folks will definitely hear from me!
Take care of Manila while I’m away!

Hi Gari, I’m good, thanks! If things work out, I’ll definitely be in Melbourne to see friends for a weekend or something. Was there back in 2006 and was able to check out Bridge Road. Thanks for the tip, though. At least, I know where else to go. I’d love to see and experience more of the Oz fashion scene.
