Meet Samantha

Twas never intentional. Though, it would’ve been expected that I’d name each and every pair ( remember Becky? Marni? Lauren?) that’s part of my shoe collection (the geeky side of being a shoe lover) but I never really gotten around to doing it until I started noticing that they seem to come with it. Names, I mean.

Meet Samantha. And she’s my own little version of the gladiator sandal. Er, you would mistake her to have come from that shoe family, yea?

(Yes, that’s really her name. It’s on the shoe box and everything. LOL.)

Love the braided straps and the clever ankle wrap. It’s very dainty and feminine. Bronze is a great colour but I’m sorely tempted to get her in Pewter, too.

Splurge in Style is quite new to me but I quickly learned that their shoes are locally made. Fantastic!

Thing is, Samantha actually saved me from murdering my feet for walking around the mall for hours in stilettos (I had Becky on!). LOL.

Anyway.

My feet are so ready to head off and enjoy the “summer-fall” season of — Hehe. Yes, dear fashionistas, this girl is preparing to pack her wardrobe and a pair of stilettos. So ready to get on that plane and fly out!

it looks good in you :) i like it too.. it is so simple, comfortable and bronze can make feet look lighter than it is, that’s why I like it ;)

I do the same! Name my stuff, I mean. But not the shoes.

I love sandals in bronze and gold coz they look good on anyone. I have a gold pair which looks like this. Gift from Mom haha!

    Virlyn: Thanks! :)

Dianne: What sort of stuff do you name? I’m more into the small details. As for colours, it’s more of a personal preference than a general quantification. :)

  • Dianne said:

Well, I name my pens, my gadgets, etc. Like, my laptop’s name is ‘laffy-taffy’ (how lame is that, right? But I prefer it that way. It kind of makes me ‘closer’ to my stuff. (^_^)

It’s lovely! Is it comfy even if you walk around for a long time though? Havaianas Highs give me strap burns at the sides of my feet when I use it all day long…

That’s a great buy… you know, a bronze sandal can be worn with anything. You can go formal or casual with it. I have yet to buy my pair of gladiator sandals… I thought of buying those metallic or those bold-colored gladiator sandals but I am afraid that I could be limited in what to pair them with.. maybe, I’ll get one in bronze too.

That’s what I always tell myself so I won’t be conscious about my feet. :(

A Sam would definitely be a great addition to my shoe collection…
