Calling All Indie Fashion Designers
For an upcoming series, I’m looking into getting in touch with local Indie fashion designers.
Are you one of them?
If you design and make clothes, bags, accessories or anything relating to fashion and style, then, yes, you’re one of them. Stating the obvious, Indie is short for independent. It means you’re mostly operating “under the radar” and only have viral marketing to your advantage. You may or may not have established a brand but still manage to put up shop virtually or physically so the rest of us can enjoy your creations.
I’m not promising a big break to take you into the mainstream but I do want to put the spotlight on your original creations. I know some take inspiration to Western trends and designs, that doesn’t automatically discount you. If you’re trying to make a splash in the local fashion industry with your personal work, then you are indeed Indie.

The clothing or fashion market is a multi-billion-pound industry and the constantly changing styles that dominate it are largely dictated by well-known designers who showcase their new seasonal collections several times a year at fashion shows in cities such as New York, London and Paris so because it is something I am interested in I thought I would try my luck at righting a fashion blog so I hope you don’t mind that I am scouring the net to get some idea’s from other peoples to see exactly whats hot and yours has giving me a few ideas, Thanks

Out of passion, Im designing and doing alot of accessories.. I never mass produce the stuff I do, because like me, I want to be the only one wearing a nice accessory. check out my site.
