Do you own a pair of Wellies?

Wellies — aka as floodboots, rainboots, gumboots — had burst into the fashion scene leaving fashionistas torn between loving them or hating them. But no matter what, Wellies are here to stay. Well, at least, for now.
I reckon the reception these adorable shoes can be likened to UGG boots. If a pair of UGGs can be considered practical during the cold season, Wellies are perfect for the wet ones. I had admired the ones I saw European fashionistas wore in Glastonbury. The idea of stomping around in the mud without worrying about cleaning your shoes (or feet!) after sounds real good to me!

One of the reasons why I haven’t really considered wearing Wellies is cuz the idea of wearing rainboots for style rather than the usual function is a bit of a strange novelty for me. But if you really think about it, I love rain and wearing a pair of Plueys will make me love rain even more!
The puddle boots from the latest Plueys collection, Destinations, is priced at Php 2,399.00 per pair but is currently being offered for only Php 2,299.00.
Plueys Manila offers other designs, too: Sugar Plum, Puppy Love, Sublime, Lotsa Dots, Origami Me, and Go Fish. Priced at Php 2,099.00. They also have Plueys for kids: Berry Stripey and Blue Jeans. Priced at Php 1,099.00.

I spotted wellies in Zara. They’re in solid colours (black and such) so I reckon it’s worth the look.
I’m drooling over Ooh La Lace and Puppy Love (though I’m not a dog lover). Haha! Time to get the Christmas wishlist comin’!
