Yesterday was the start of The Great 3-Day Sale in ALL SM Stores — nationwide, I believe. And last night, together with a few people, I did hit the nearest one to see if shopping will be as great as they claimed it would be. I guess, as much as I hate to say it, this is one sale event that’s worth the trip.

I’ve always steered clear of sale events just because of the crowd, often poor selections, and the traffic. Since it’s the first day and we were there before the office folk, traffic wasn’t as bad. Then again, SM City Bicutan is quite close to where I live so the time spent on the road and parking weren’t the worst things I’ve had to go through.

At first, I thought the sale was only applicable to the department store and supermarket even when I know that SM often hold these sale events frequently (once or twice a month?). My companions quickly told me that all the shops and boutiques in SM will be holding their respective sales, too. When I got there, I noticed that you can get up to 70% off on selected items and lowest would be around 10%. Shops like Kamiseta, Pink & Blue Soda, Artworks, Solo, BAYO, Limited, Celine, Petit Monde, etc. are all participating in the sale.

I’ve managed to bring home stuff from Gingersnaps (birthday gift!), Kashieca (personal), and SM Department Store (for Halloween!). More on these on later posts.

Omigod. I bought this adorable white sleeveless top overlay from Kashieca for only Php 449.50, half the original price! I’ll try to remember to take a photo as soon as I get to air it out.

The Great 3-Day Sale is on 03 October (10am to 11pm), 04 October (10am to 11pm), and 05 October (10am to 10pm).
