Going For Plaid

product_359 MALDITA | Style Manila, Manila Fashion BlogIt can be a little cliche-ish but what the heck, eh? Plaids are one of the trends that’s making a comeback (at least for the Western Fall season). It’s a bit preppy but it’s pretty nonetheless.

I’ve never bought an item from Maldita, though, I do find their selection sleek and, sometimes, bordering on the cosmopolitan work wear sort but there are notable items that’s easy to style into a more casual urban outfit. For the relatively younger fashionistas (note: ones still in school!), if minis are acceptable then by all means have fun with this piece.

The plaid mini-skirt is priced at Php 999.00. Which reminds me, probably one of the reasons why I haven’t bought anything from Maldita is cuz I find them a bit price-y. I reckon it’ll take a special piece to lure me into spending more than I ought. Wouldn’t hurt to be a practical shopper, yea?

    i agree, Maldita’s prices are a bit high, but they know how to throw a sale! when they say sale, they mean SALE. like 70% off pa nga every season.

    however, i still don’t buy, as Maldita is not exactly for my age group. there are clothes for those in the super early twenties, but not much.

    Yeah, practicality goes a long way. Gotta love ‘em 70% off! I’ll be at Maldita in a heartbeat when they make sales like that.

    plaids trend is really coming back… in my part, i would buy my own plaid style cloth and have it tailored cut and made by a trusted tailor..
