Style Sighting: Bloggers on the Runway

leave a response

I reckon it’s never complete if you don’t get snapped a photo or two as you pose on the runway. Bloggers have graced the event and I grabbed the opportunity to capture their personal style in good lighting conditions.

Philippine Fashion Week 2008 - Sophie | Style Manila, Manila Fashion Blog

Sophie Uy of Beautynomics, Kikay Kits and Beauty Gizmo (among other things) in her mod LBD and her adorable yellow peep-toe flats.

Philippine Fashion Week 2008 - Phoebe | Style Manila, Manila Fashion Blog

Phoebe Ramos of Swipe Some Gloss wearing her Nine West boots and showing off her Black and Pink Tote.

Philippine Fashion Week 2008 - AJ | Style Manila, Manila Fashion Blog

Finally, AJ Matela of Baklaako.com in his usual stylish self (he was on his way to work after the event, mind you), wearing a thin necktie which completes a two-toned suit look. Nice touch. Look out for his own photo set here in Style Manila. I’ll have it up soon.

Author’s Note: From now on, I won’t be allowing negative comments on people featured in my Style Sightings Series. This is for the mutual benefit of the blog and the person being featured. If you really want to send in a comment, feel free to use Style Manila’s contact form.

I tried to email you gnib. It bounced. I have a ready response (if what I’ve noted in the post, added yesterday, isn’t enough). I’m not going to use this comment area for it.

why don’t you just post your reply here? That’s the normal way of blogging…authors post their responses to people who comment as “comments” too.

I thought this isn’t a personal blog and readers can view out their opinions regardless of unfavorable or favorable statements as long as they do not elicit obscenity, nor use abusive and foul language nor incite hostility, right?

I understand you are one of the authors of this site but this is not your personal blog.

This isn’t a “personal blog” so I do wonder why there is “editing ” of comments even when the comment was not using abusive , foul or obscene nor humiliating language or intent.

Why are you so wary of posting your response here and instead opting to PM me? Is there something to be scared about in your response?

This is my blog. I own it. I’ve built this from scratch. I’ve worked hard on every post and on every feature. Style Manila is the result of my hard work. So, yea. I have every right to say it’s my personal blog. I will take it personally if people like you have the audacity to question my authority in my own territory.

What about you? It is nice to leave aggressive comments as long as you’re hiding behind anonymity. Such freedom, isn’t it?

Funny how you can’t even appreciate the effort that I bring to the blog and yet expect that I owe you something. There is a reason why you keep coming back, right? Or were you waiting for me to screw up so you can rub it in? If it makes you feel better, go ahead and say you’re the better person. I’m simply doing what’s best for my blog, protecting the people I feature and maintaining this an “angst-free” blog.

This is the last time I’ll ever respond to any of your comments. You’ve been nothing but rude.

Have a good day.

Oh my gad gnib, you’ve been Sashified! *snap snap*

Seriously, if you can’t even use a legit email address, don’t expect to be taken uh… seriously?
