Sasha Manuel 14159 days agoI’ve finally gotten around to uploading the last batch of the photos I took during the Opening Ceremony of the 2008 Philippine Fashion Week. Tis a tedious task, I tell ‘ya. Juggling between processing photos and writing them posts. And then there is seeing fabulous photos of the fashion show taken by other local photographers like Ian Ong of ClicktheCity.com. Gawd. I almost didn’t want to upload mine. LOL.
But I know you guys would want to see what we saw that night, yea? Twas models strutting down the catwalk, wearing the creations of participating fashion designers in this year’s fashion week. Just glimpses of what will be shown (or has been shown, for that matter) for the 9-day fashion fiesta.

I did my best to take a photo of each dress but these are the ones that made the cut.
There were hits and misses in the lot. I’m wishing I could’ve had more time to find out whom each creation belongs to. I had loved some of them and am currently working on my list. Meanwhile, I hope you guys enjoy the photos! It sure took me hours to finish this post. Believe me. I almost quit and leave it for tomorrow cuz twas too taxing to upload!
Anyway.

What’s there to be ashamed with your photos? They’re well framed and sharp despite the limitation that is your distance from the stage of which you have no control over. Nice. I like. How much? LOL

Hi. can you guys review the New Generation Show? Im very interested on seeing young designers’ works. i think theyre more interesting to watch than some seasoned ones

Hi Sasha. I’m June, one of the designers of the Luxe Wear B Group. That third gown on the second set of pics (the frothy pink one with the huge rose details) was my work. I’m very happy that you picked it to be featured here. And kudos … I haven’t got a trained eye when it comes to photography but I think yhe shots are spectacular. =)
