SOTN 1

As promised, here I am armed with snapshots taken during the NOKIA Soul of the Night event at the Embassy Superclub last Tuesday, 08 April 2008. This is all part of the launch activities of the Nokia N82 phone for the Philippine market.

SOTN 2

If you’re wondering what Soul of the Night is all about, well, the phone’s camera has flash and lens features which enables the user to capture better images even in low light. It’s no longer your typical phone camera. Plus it has a built-in app which allows you to directly upload these photos online and even share it with other N82 users via the Soul of the Night website. Of course, these are just the tip of the iceberg.

One of the major activities is the Nokia Soul of the Night Adventure Race 2, which was held last 29 March 2008. There were 10 teams who participated, composed of individuals who gone through an extensive audition process, joined by celebrities and media people.

And Tuesday night was the awarding night.

All teams received special awards. I guess this is what they mean by “you’re all winners”, eh? LOL. But only one team bagged the Php 100,000.00 cash prize and the trip to Macau (plus one). How cool a prize is that?! I’m sure they even got to keep the N82 phones they used during the race. Anyway, congratulations to Alfred Vargas and Michelle Callanta.

After all the awarding hullabaloo, Local://e!’s DJ Patch and guest DJ, Ms Badkiss took center stage to take the celebration to another level. Cue dancers!

Oh, wait. Did I mention that the event was hosted by Rovilson Fernandez and Marc Nelson? My bad.

Sasha & Her Bois, Rovilson and Marc

I just couldn’t resist the urge to get my photo taken with these two gorgeous, oh-so-yummy hunks. Loved the Aussie accent! I’m not known for my bashfulness but I guess that’s the reason I looked silly on the photo. Or, wait, was it the alcohol? LMAO.

Hope you guys enjoyed the photos!

Some photos are courtesy of Rico Mossesgeld and Alexei Villaraza of Bridges. Thanks, guys!
