Havaianas WAVE for Men

When I mentioned, “what I didn’t really like is that the shape of the flip-flops isn’t friendly for them who have wide feet”, on my last post, I wasn’t aware of the Havaianas WAVE line. These babies are meant for them guys with wide feet. Definitely.

I like how these flip-flops (but they look more like rubber sandals now) look. They’re very casual and look very sturdy. I like the light grey and navy blue colour combination. Makes it look clean and beach-ready. I love the straps.

You may be wondering why I am posting another pair of Havaianas here. My brother opted to have his pair exchanged and specifically asked if I can look for something more suitable for his feet. So, I went back to all flip-flops over at Bonifacio High Street yesterday. That’s when I discovered Havaianas WAVE. I just double-checked with my brother if he liked the colour combination first — I did but this time I wanted to be sure cuz I really don’t want to go back yet again!

As far as I know, the Havaianas WAVE line is for men (feel free to correct me!). For now, they only have it in this colour. The sales person said the rest were out of stock, but as to just how many combinations are available — tis vague. One or two other combos, perhaps?

The pair turned out to be a little bit more expensive than the old pair. It’s basically an upgrade. However, I can actually understand why this pair was priced that way. It doesn’t look like your typical rubber slippers. You’ll never guess this esp with the way it looks but it’s actually extra softer and a whole lot flexible. I was surprised when my brother started to twist it in every which way. LOL.

They hold to my feet much better than the regular models although I’d love if they had the same rubber as Top or Brasil.

would still prefer the classic style of flipflops, basically because that is how our rubber slippers wayback from childhood look like..and that makes Havaianas unique and exceptional. the Havaianas Wave design/style is just similar to some Nike and Crocs slippers anyway…
