Late posting but I reckon it’s best if you guys get a glimpse of how I — as a “photographer” — looked like. Heehee. I was at the Bayon Temple in the Angkor Region in Siem Reap, Cambodia, photo taken 29 February 2008.

I expected that I’d be under the sun for long periods of time so I armed myself with a hat and a scarf. Yea, I used the scarf to shield off the sun. It did help, I tell ‘ya! And if you plan to go off on a photography trip, it’s best if you own (and wear, of course!) a pair of cargo pants. Pockets come mighty useful. If you can get one with drawstrings at the hems, so much the better! You won’t worry about them getting too dirty or wet, know what I mean?

What I deeply regret is not buying this bag before the trip as I originally planned. Gah. I had to lug around that stiff handbag. Gross mistake. Pah.

Tank: Topshop
Pants: Flea Market
Scarf: Mum’s
Shoes: Chuck Taylor
Hat: a shop on Bridge Road, Melbourne
Eyewear: Zuoblao
Sunnies: Mango
Bag: Secondhand Prada

During my styling days, I would wear cargo pants or cargo minis AND a custom made beltbag. I had the compartments measured to fit my phones, pens, pins, etc. My husband who’s a photographer would also wear cargo pants and his own custom beltbag, measured to fit his SD cards, batteries, etc. Great thing about those beltbags was that they weren’t tacky or “baduy.” Ended up getting compliments all the time! :)
