Canvas Shoulder Bag, Benetton
After an event in Makati last Friday, I found myself loitering the halls of Megamall in Ortigas Center. I had to drop off Ice Hockey princess Sharm at the rink. I decided to go shopping. I chanced upon a sale over at U2, offering 50% off on selected items (will tell you more about that in a later post). Then checked out Mango but I had been hoping to buy an urban bag (like I haven’t shopped more than enough bags, eh?). This brings me to my latest bag purchase, the Canvas Shoulder Bag from Benetton.
It’s actually from the Men’s Accessory collection but it works for me. I reckon it looks very neutral, hence, can be used by both genders. It looks uncluttered, design-wise and the colour, though prone to dirt, looks clean and fresh. I love how it fits perfectly as an urban bag. Classic. The strap isn’t as comfortable as I’d want it to be but it’s alright, I guess. It only has three compartments. The main pouch under the bag flap that has a zipper pocket inside and the zipper compartment outside at the back. The main pouch also has a zipper, which is great so I wouldn’t worry about stuff spilling out of the bag. The flap is secured by two straps, goes through rivet holes, with magnetic snap-on locks.
The bag is currently priced at Php 4,995.00. Oh, btw, did you know that Benetton is giving away a free gym bag for every Php 5,000.00 worth of purchase? I was short by Php 5.00 but I still got one, which was cool! I gave the gym bag to teh boyfriend. I’ll show you how it looks like once I take a decent photo of it.

I thought you’d appreciate this: Jovovich-Hawk has a new, limited-edition collection at Target, so I headed out there on Saturday and scooped up a gray-and-white, cap-sleeved hoodie. (There’s a photo of it on my blog.) I love love love their stuff they’ve produced for Target. They’ve always been one of my favorite designers, even if I can’t afford a stitch of their high-end stuff. I do hope to score the purse, too.

Though their designs aren’t revolutionary, I absolutely adore the fact that they *know* what women will definitely wear. I love their Fall 2008 RTW collection! The outfits look gorgeous!
