Scarves

On my recent trip to Vietnam and Cambodia, I was fortunate enough to spot a few items fabulous enough to be my “pasalubongs” (gifts). I had wanted to buy stuff for myself but I had decided to put my friends first on my shopping list. Unfortunately, I completely forgot to buy even one scarf for myself. LOL. Oh, but I did buy a few things. More on that later!

Going back, I bought the first two scarves on the photo in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam and the last three were all bought when I was in Siem Reap, Cambodia. All are priced between $1.50 to $4.00 — haggled price, actually. Yes, my dear fashionistas, you can haggle to your heart’s content! Some of these items I got at half the original price. Cool, yea?

Yellow Desert Scarf, Irene’s Closet | Style Manila, Manila Fashion BlogSpeaking of scarves, I heard that Irene’s Closet is selling a bunch of Desert Scarves for Php 500.00. I know it’s the “square” sort and not the “rectangular” ones I just bought but a scarf can come in all shapes and sizes (pardon the pun). I encourage variety! Hehe.

I particularly liked this colour combination, Yellow and Black. See photo on the right. Yellow is truly coming on strong these days, huh? Anyway, there are several combinations available. I’m sure you guys will find something that’ll suit your style fancy.

Also, there are several items — tops and dresses — on the Clearance Sale list. There are quite a few good finds, I tell ‘ya. Worth having a look.

Happy shopping!

Yea, that colour combination is the least “desert-y” looking of the lot, IMO. :)

I wish I would be given one of these for Christmas. *fingers crossed* It’s not bad to dream, is it?

The desert scarf became really huge right? I see it on a lot of people everywhere! But scarves are still one of the accessories that I’m glad came into the scene. Looks great on women with long necks!
