Block & White Deo Powder

11 March 2008 480 views 5 Comments

Block & White 1Late last week, I got a surprise visit. It literally woke me up (even when twas already 3-ish in the afternoon). I wasn’t expecting anyone to just drop in at short notice, you see. (Sorry, I didn’t get to meet you, AJ. Let’s set a coffee date for next time.)

AJ from Team Asia came by to drop off a “box” set of Block & White’s newest release, Deodorant Powder. Twas for a review. You can check out my first impressions on the Deo Powder over at Beauty Bento Box. It also came with a box of pizza. (Thanks for the pizza, AJ.) Anyway, I’ll be doing a follow-up post after *rigid* testing (I kid. I kid.) to update you ladies.

As you can see, the “box” is so adorable. Seemingly fashioned after vintage travel cases. Unfortunately, it’s not re-usable unless you’re a real crafty person. I reckon you can think of alternative uses to it. I’m thinking storage or “pot”, more than anything else. Hehe.

Over the weekend, I spotted these deo powders on the shelves of a supermarket. The roll-ons are priced around Php 35.00-40.00 while the ones in a pot/tub are Php 65.00-70.00. Reason behind the price difference is beyond me but I can take a shot at guessing. Apart from the obvious difference in content weight, it’s probably the packaging? The tubs come with puffs and powder separator, you see.

Block & White 2

I’d like to thank Block & White and Team Asia for the gift. I’m also thanking AJ for getting in touch with me and personally delivering the said gift.

I think this is a nice product. I’ve tried deo powders before and they’re quite satisfying.
